Hi I went to fill up yesterday .pump in hand turned cap ,and the top of it came of in my hand.a black plastic locking ring dropped of.sat the ring back in the bottom half twisted it back round and it worked.since the I have tried it again it seems ok.just worried it will happen again at a bad moment.any ideas.

I carry a spare filler cap (correct one for the vehicle) just in case.

Mine needed replacing too. Went to dealer and it was less than 20 quid. MY11 SD4 HSE.

I got mine off of eBay, but it was the whole filler assembly. I only wanted the flap to go in the rear bumper for my '240V mains hook-up' ...... so the yellow cap was a bonus

Should the black locking ring be glued as there looked to be traces of superglue around the base.i have seen the video but could do with subtitles.
