Genuine LR carpet mats

Just purchased a set of supposedly GENUINE Land Rover OE carpet mats off Ebay. NOT convinced they are GENUINE LR. Embarassed
can someone please describe the Gen LR OE carpet mats? I.E. Markings/part number/logo etc.
or has any one got a picture of the GEN carpet mats (black) in their gallery for me to take a butchers?

Cheers

My genuine Land Rover black carpets (mats) that I got with the buggy on day 1 and that have never been used do not look look like that at all Shocked . In fact they do not have a metal Land Rover badge to scratch or dent Big Cry - but hey who cars you only wipe your boots on them anyway Whistle 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

England 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Baltic Blue

Mine came with beige carpet mats made in errr...erm......carpet type stuff..

I then purchased some of the ratton style ones like Npinks from ebay (via an official dealer...Hunters I think)

The ratton style ones look much better in my opinion, although being beige they dont look good for long!! Baltic blue XS - Alpaca Leather - 18" HSE wheels.

Should have added that I only use the LR rubbers that were also included with the purchase Thumbs Up .
However looking again at my carpet ones - they are a cheap nylon crappy copy-cat type and no where near as nice as Nicks dirty half worn with scratched and dented badges. I will defiantly never let them near my FL2 and will bin them at the first opportunity. Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Thanks fellas, looks like I've been had!

I got the rubber ones thrown in when new, but fancied some plush carpet ones the AD said they were gen but they are clearly not.

I got rubber mats with my LR too. They are perfect in the winter when there is snow, rain, and mud.

I will probably get carpet mats to use when it gets nice out though. They are expensive through the dealer though.

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Lago Grey

My 58 reg 59 MY came with carpet mats from the stealers, but they don't have the metal strip and the carpet is a much finer and softer weave than shown in the photo's.

LR may well have changed the design recently, or maybe there is a different carpet grade according to model? At any rate the set purchased may still be cosher. 58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky
TT Quattro, black. Ers.
AC Cobra rep in build. Ars.

The ones I've bought are very poor quality with no part number sticker etc
Bought from a private seller off ebay I'm awaiting a reply to my Email, might have to name and shame if I don't get a satisfactory response.
