Wire it as per 13 pin euro socket and then use a removable 13 to 7 pin socket adaptor - best of both worlds then Jules |

I converted my LR genuine twin socket loom to 13 pin using a couple of chocolate blocks sited below the left boot tray floor.

But the 13 pin is part of the MOT and must have all pin working but the 7 pin is not so if he only has 7 pin now why add the extra wiring and relays if he does not need them.

Thanks Bibendum but I already have the wiring for the towbar socket. What I need is the wiring colours for the plug on the car that the socket connects in to. |
