United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Zermatt Silver

It is a real problem Simon, 13 years ago our ' 95 Defender was stolen , we had bought it 6 moths old and put our private plate on it, one year and one day later ( the legal length of time because the car was never recovered) we transferred the plate onto the replacement '98 Defender we had been runing for 9 months. Within the week a Police T5 folowed me for several miles then stopped me as the plate was still showing as stolen,, but luckily in the car I had the plate transfer documents and a copy of the letter from the insurance company stating that they had no interest in retaining the plate, plus the plate B4*** is our surname and I had my license with me.

If you are ever unlucky enough to have a car stolen on a private plate ensure that you insurance company gives you such a letter without it they have the right to the plate if they want, DVLA do not issue any documentation when to cover a "stolen" private blate 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Sumatra Black

There's a car over in Bolton, I forget exactly what it is, Bentley perhaps seems to come to mind with the reg: 1 WON

the story is the guy is, of course, a lottery winner but to be fair I do not know him to verify this.

There's also a footballer who lives a couple of miles away with the plates "boss" and "bossy" (his and the wifes!) lol, found that one quite amusing. 2007 '57' Freelander 2 XS Sumatra Black TD4 Automatic - Standard (for now!)

I'm a wee bit of a cherished number nerd. Fully paid up member of the National Registration Numbers Club. Rolling Eyes

My first name is SAM and my initials are SAM. I have SAM 343 on my Freelander, SAM 323 on my MGF and a local registration CSU 942 on my Triumph Bonneville, which would normally sport an "R" reg.

Saw this one today MRS 666. I wonder if it has a special meaning to the male driver or if it refers to his wife.

I've seen NON1X on a range rover with a lady driver many years ago.
On a sports car, can't remember what make T1 VOM...read it in your rear-view mirror and it's MOV1T
Plumbers van in London LO02 LOO
I remember a national paper giving something like WON 1T as a prize or did i dream that?
My wife's car her three initials (bought her a range rover for one birthday and the number plate for the next) and i have my two and her three on mine, means nothing to anybody else but we like them. Common sense isn't very common.
