United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Orkney Grey
Haldex & Auto box oil service.

I bought all the oils/filter kits needed to have my Haldex filter changed/cleaned out & also to have the PTU oil change autobox fluid changed along with rear diff but the guy who was going to do it has let me down. I live in Bedford near Milton Keynes & was wondering if anyone in my area could tell me if they know anyone that could help me get this done.

Had the cam belt & water pump done so a bit of a relief although it was all ok but now he is not getting back to me regarding the other stuff. Any help appreciated. 2014 Freelander 2 HSE Orkney Grey. Now sold.

I keep pushing the escape button but I am still here.

Hi,
might be worth double checking the manual (or do a search) as ISTR the Rear diff is 80w-90
and

chips had previously added these details in another thread.

"Front Transfer box 75W80 GL4
Rear Transmission. 80W90 EP. GL5
Note the different specs"

Thumbs Up

On another note I have been looking at an audi SQ5 and the maintenance schedule for their Haldex unit is every 3 years Shocked bit different to L/R "nah they last for ever" Laughing .
my first ever FL2 and I did keep it longer than most other cars!
But its now gone way up Norf
