I have a 2010 FL 2 2 2 TD4.e and I have a quick question.
When I press the Start / Stop button the car goes through a System Check.
All the informatuon/warning light illuminate with the exception of the Glow Plug indicator. Is this normal or do I have a blown light.

You will only see the glow plug light on cold days when there is a slight delay as they warm up. Even a British summer is sufficiently warm that you won't see it until later in the year.  3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Thank you. I wasn't sure whether it came on as part of the system check or not. As you say the Glow plugs only work in quite cold weather.

Thank you. I haven't seen mine AT ALL since I purchased the hippo a month ago.

Likewise and I live in North Yorkshire so the winters are a bit chilly. I'm back down south next year though hopefully so I may never see the glow plug light

With global warming, it may be a thing of the past, or are we just due for a bad winter.

Hippo ? These are not FL'1s wading around.  FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I just assumed that they were all nicknamed Hippo, is that not the case?
