Site downtime 15th Nov 2016 0830-1500

Firstly, huge apologies that the site has been down for 6 and a half hours today.

It's the biggest period of site downtime in an extremely long time (many years) and totally out of character for our hosting company.

Current information is that there was a power issue in the server datacentre where the site server is located. Ultimate customer servers seemed to be final ones to be restored to action, hosting companies had their own sites brought back up first.

I have requested a report from the host about what happened.

Yep, tried to get on earlier and couldn't.
Glad it's sorted

[at least it wasn't the Disco 3/4 site .... there would've been mutiny ] FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

I look after 5 websites and they were all down today, presumably using the same hosting company as this site. I have used them for about 10 years and never had a problem with them going offline, although I have been hacked a few times and have now installed extra firewall software to keep the from places like Russia, Vietnam, Ukraine, etc etc out. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
