Mine was serviced yesterday at two years old, 25000 miles. Cost including courtesy FL2 was £343. The modified heater was fitted at the same time. Oil used was Castrol Magnatec, overfilled by half an inch on the dipstick.
Otherwise the work was carried out efficiently and the car had been washed and vacuumed before it was returned.

it might help if you put what area your in, as what somebody has paid in cornwall will be completly different to whats paid in scotland or london etc  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

My car came from Sturgess in Leicester, I had the first service done there, but when they quoted me £485 for the second service I about fell off my chair.

So as I have dealt with the Marshall Group for 18 years, I gave there LR dealer a chance, and they did it for me for £350 all in. A good service and their customer service was second to none. It gave me a real confidence boost to see them working on the car with CARE.

Having a Marshall account was also another bonus!

I think that the way the current financial climate is at the moment, dealers will be prepared to negotiate as they will only tolerate losing out to independants for a short time. I've had quotes from:
£231 for a 4x4 Specialist (doing everything in accordance to schedule/spec)
£295 (Main Dealer - Discounted price)
£410 (Another Main Dealer)

Second service cost me £269.04 all in !! Parts , Labour, collection , delivery, & valet, cracking value for money i would say
