A good code reader and mechanic/auto electrician can tell you but by then you may as well have got the kit fitted. Later cars (MY13) are plug and play I understand.

have a look up behind the exhaust at the towbar crossbar and see if it has a sticker or label on it.ref leccy,s I had a landrover 13 pin kit put on by a witter agent,wanted a "proper one"so it linked up properly with the car.

Yep rnlisg many do and the Leeds agent was doing that several years ago I was told. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I had a look under the car and it appears to be a factory fitted Land Rover towbar made by Brink.
