Freelander 2 - HSE (AU Spec) Audio wiring diagram

Hello,

I have an Australian HSE, which comes with the Alpine sound system, no tech pack, and no bluetooth. I have searched the internet, and cannot find a wiring diagram to enable me to connect a bluetooth handsfree kit. there is a phone button on the stereo, but it does nothing.

Anyone have any experience with this sound system?

I can ask the guy tomorrow which is installing my sat nav. He does a lot of LR for the dealership.

Not sure if you'll find anything by looking at this:
but it's wiring of the audio system but I'm not sure if it's the same as yours.

Dorko - Thanks for that, what Sat Nav are you putting in? I was going to put a tomtom 730 in the space where the 6million dollar LR version would normally go.

Gecko - thanks for the diagram, it helps, has half the information I need (I think) Smile which is more than I had.

I had sucfessfully wired in bluetooth in my last car to use the speakers for sound, auto mute, and even the factory phone button to answer calls, Im hoping to do the same with the Freelander

Cheers
