memory seats?

I understand these don't work from the key fob you have to press the button on the seat base?

Do all the adjustments happen at the same time or one after another, as on the manual electric seats you can only perform one function at a time, quite time consuming when Mrs G has lifted the seat right up and forward and I need it right down and a long way back Evil or Very Mad .

Just asking really in case I ever upgrade to a HSE as the slow seat adjustment is the only real snag I have with the fl2 (so far)

I believe Audi memory seats start to move as you unlock the car with your personal fob. My A3 didn't have memory seats but the fob did alter the radio to my station and reset the climate to my settings and obviously reverted to Mrs G's settings when she used her fob. a neat trick Thumbs Up At work

i was sliding my passenger seat forward whilst reclining the back of it the other night to put something in there Whistle and back again when i had finished after i had taken the rather large item out Very Happy

I have to admit the slowness of the seats is annoying, i'm glad the wife doesn't drive mine much Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

mine stops winding back if you hit recline at same time Confused and the layout of the switch means its impossible to move the seat down and back at the same time At work

The memory function does only do one operation at a time I'm afraid. The solution to this problem is to never let anyone else drive your car! Freelander 2 TD4 HSE auto Tonga Green/Alpaca
