caravan joke

As rude innuendo is approved of on this site yet caravan jokes are locked out, here is a caravan joke.

"The Policeman pulled over a car and strolled up to the drivers window: "Excuse me sir, but do you know that you're driving without a rear light?"

The driver jumped out and ran to the rear of his car and let out a whimpering groan. The driver seemed so genuinely distressed that the policeman took a sympathetic view: "Don't take it so hard, it's not all that serious an offence..."

"Isn't it" the driver cried, "Where's my caravan gone?" At work

No complaints about rude innuendo's have been made where as numerous comments have been made regarding the caravan posts that are continuing to be made.

we can all have a joke but when a joke becomes a constant barrage for anti caravan post where's the fun in that Question

There are alot of drivers of the FL2 that wish to use what they, myself included, think is a enjoyable past time and don't want to be reading it constantly anymore Exclamation

We are all entitled to our opinions on anything , but can you all please refrain from forcing them on others Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

50% of member have caravans so 50% dont and most non vaners do not like the things blocking the roads, therefore jokes will always come around simple as that. Many vaners take the joke as a joke and give a bit of back chat, others ignore them.

As far as a constant barrage goes I have to disagree more a gentle stream. I have cut down on the vaner jokes but a few will always slip out.

Its been pointed out by many that this is a family friendly forum so the same mod who joins in the innuendo talk should not block a caravan joke, Its just not a balanced approach. At work

When I bought my first caravan and left on holiday with it, the first thing that has struck me was that compared to the previous years there were so few caravans on the road... After a while I realised that there were no less but we all drove more or less at the same speed so you met only few of them Mr. Green

So if all those caravans Censored you off, buy one yourself and by a miracle, they all vanish. Shocked

I seemed to recall the thread was about car accidents, (not the best taste for a topic, especially when people could have been injured or worse if you delved further into the website.) not caravans, but it was turned into a caravan attack straight away and resulted in it going way Off Topic That was the reason it was locked.

I know you and others have cut back on the caravan jokes and obviously all caravaners slow traffic down etc etc, and it a fact of life that we are tageted. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Weak excuse, it was in the off topic section already, the innuendos where 'off topic' in a normal section of the forum but you never locked that thread.

I respect you have a job to do as mod and am not trying to stir trouble for fun but I also have some valid points.

This forum is a public meeting point so I respect everyones wishes and will listen to/act on any (reasonable and polite) objections about what I write. At work

it was in the off topic section, but it was a thread about car accidents NOT caravan accidents which it was instantly turned in to Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

simple

Car accidents posted involved Land Rovers and obviously the thread was started about them

Caravan Accidents don't and it was Off Topic on that particular thread

I don't think anybody actually responded to the original thread, just used it attack caravans again Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Npinks, you have my support, (and I suspect from a lot of others too), let's get the forum back to a sensible place to exchange items of interest, problems and things in general to do with our Freelanders.
