Software Ugrades

When a service (either an A or B) is carried out will the dealer automatically update the Freelander2's software?

I saw the checksheet on another post and it didnt mention software at all, so wondered what triggers an update.

Good question. In my experience, it's not an automatic thing. They seem to do it as and when a problem occurs. Thumbs Up Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

One would like to think that they would, but there again do you trust them Question I'm sure that there are good decent dealers out there, it's just I haven't found one yet Rolling Eyes , except Charles Hurst whom I might deal with in 18 months time (assuming he's still in business) Whistle ______________________

"A" service is where they do the basics, oil change, pollen filter change an so forth....

"B" service is where they do a bit more. But be warned, they DON'T change the air filter on the first service Evil or Very Mad

Someone on here posted the service sheet in their gallery but can't remember who it was now Rolling Eyes

Would like to see that if the person who originally posted it sees this as my first service is due in December.

Please note condition Z, when towing you need to change oil at 7500 miles, I realise you vaners dont have the van on all the time( although I sometimes suspect that Npinks does Wink ) but after a long towing trip your oil change surely must be brought forward somewhat ?. At work

Especially when you are running 30km with 800kg and with the brakes on (the trailer)
It irritates me that I haven`t taken a picture while it was still a fire :
