At that mileage you might also consider blanking the EGR valve, as it's quite likely to be sticking. If you ever get a chance to drive a fairly recent model with the same engine, compare the performance. If yours is the same, no problem; if it's down then the EGR is a likely candidate and very easy to fix. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Ok I'll bear that in mind. In all honesty I don't think the performance is different to what it should be, but then as you say without having something to compare it to its difficult to say. |

So after 7/8 months of happy motoring I now feel I'm about to be fully welcomed into the freelancer 2 club. I have a noise coming from what I think is the front. Kind of a humming sound. It's not there all the time but it is noticeable. I'm going to swap the tyres front to back today and see if that helps, if not I feel it may be a trip to bell engineering 🙄 |

There's a slight hissing noise when I turn the steering wheel whilst stationary aswell, not sure if that would have anything to do with it, or just another problem 😂 |
