No they wouldn't. Fact is they would never get past the auditions. Why not ?
Because the music industry today is about talentless puppets who can be moulded into whatever. There's a formula . Unless you
conform to this formula, you'll never make it in today's music industry. The general public are like sheep, they need to be told what to want, and what to like and what to listen to. They make these X-factor winners into little tins gods - because they've been told that's what they are.
Case in point. Work colleague asked me to watch a music video that had 20 million views in the first 24 hours of being downloaded to Youtube. It was one of the worst videos I've seen. I asked him if he thought it was a good song. He answered that obviously it was , it had 20 million views in such a short time. I then asked him to get back to me a year later to see if it was still being viewed, or just "viewed" as that song from last year that's no longer relevant.Then I showed him Bohemian Rhapsody. At 26 years old he'd never even heard of it before. I pointed out the views and said that it's still being watched today, despite being released in 1975. That is a true test of good music.How long would his amazing video be watched for ?

I would add that the curse that appears to be "Soshullll Meeeeejyaaa" appears to be what makes or breaks you these days. Sheep follow sheep follow fickle follow fads.....it's a great shame that they don't die out with these fads.

Poor old Alistair Stewart, ITN Stalwart for over 40 years has been cast aside tonight, because one person on the planet chose to take professional offence at a verse from Shakespeare, scream "racism!", and Lo and behold, Stewart is told to resign or face the sack.

Shocking state of affairs and the sooner it's all banned once and for all, the sooner common sense might just return to the world.

Going bit off topic Sperly, but totally agree with you, Stewart gone yet that clown Johnathan Ross can say that one of the contestants on that heap of suite ' masked singer' was a lady who died years ago and it's just laughed off again!!
