2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey
Damn and Blast :-(

Due to stupidity and carelessness on my part, mishandling my briefcase in the car, I have chipped out a 4mm circle of leather from the passenger seat arm rest, exposing the blue foam underneath. Are there any quick, cheap and reasonable fixes for this?

I shall now flagelate myself with birchwood Big Cry Chris

I reckon it should be easy to remove the arm rest and drop it off at a leather specialist to be repaired/recovered. Your dealer should have a tame leather fitting guy. Or chips away could fill the hole?
I've never examined a HSE armrest but there must be a way to remove it?

Easiest & cheapest is perhaps just to switch & replace? I guess LR has lots of ready-made armrests in your colour of leather? Well, at least it is free just to ask them. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack.

I was thinking more along the lines of a ChipsAway-fill-the-hole solution. There must be some synthetic "leather" filler that can be used.. Chris

Unfortunatly they are not real leather just imitation leather Shocked or PLASTIC Shocked if you prefer to hear that word, like the side panels of your leather seats Sad Crying or Very sad Big Cry

So if you are going to get one recovered, why not do both in REAL LEATHER Very Happy Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

Think the correct term for this is PLEATHER (plastic/leather) used to have a jacket made of the same stuff back in the late 80's.

Think the easiest thing is as mentioned about and buy a replacement - any repair will likely only draw the eye to the damage rather than mask it.
