It must be me , but if I left the engine running with car in neutral without the handbrake on I would expect it to roll away (on a hill) Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

I assume it means the fault was the parking pawl was only engaging once the engine was stopped even though it had been shifted to P.

That said, preregistered ones were coming in around 30k, a huge saving on new.
