Went out yesterday and had some fun in the snow, trying out the snow,grass prog.
Not too great with my road tyres but the LR coped very well, even in snow around 5 inches deep.

I sat on a bend near the Lecht Ski Centre and watched the traffic for a while, where strong winds were making the road invisible due to drifting snow and white out conditions.
The amount of drivers that raced in to the white out, hit the brakes, then wondered why their car was spinning around was unbelieveable. That and the drivers that stopped on the upward hill, then wondered why they couldn't get going up it again in their front wheel drive cars was amazing to watch.

I saw one woman come flying round the bend in a BMW 1 series, step off the throttle, then spin almost 360 degrees.

How no-one had a major accident is beyond belief....

That would have meant exiting the 28 degree interior of my vehicle

I must admit to feeling a little guilty as I watched the rescue....

Some tourist came up and asked me what time the snow was going to stop.

BAD? - looks like a normal Norwegain winter day to me  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
