Slightly sad to say I've bitten the bullet and decided to leave the world of FL2 ownership for a Disco Sport. New car will be an SE Tech auto in Corris grey, with panoramic glass roof. Delivery in the next couple of weeks.

Have to say I took several test drives before deciding - it's a different driving experience to the FL2 and maybe not exactly like for like as they're completely different animals - but the drive is altogether more modern on the road than what the FL2 offers. Also the auto box gives me a bit of reassurance on the regular farmland offroad stuff I do; always worried about doing a clutch!

Got a good deal on trade in for mine - a bit over £17k (May 14 TD4 XS with 28K) - dealer says he's short on FL2 approved used stock so was keen to get mine as the FL2 is still in demand.

Here's hoping the new motor will be as fun and as trouble free as the FL2 was! Td4 XS manual, Orkney Grey, MY2014
