2008 LR2 TD4 HSE Auto Baltic Blue
Can you modify the 3 flashes for the turn signal?

When you lightly touch the turn signal up or down it will flash 3 times. It would be a lot better if this were 4 or 5 flashes instead as usually when I'm changing lanes I'm usually in the middle of the changing lane process so it's not enough time really.

Is it at all possible to modify how many times it flashes?

yes, so's mine.

I agree though, another 1 or 2 flashes would ensure that the indicator signals through-out the complete turn.

I guess if enough owners request the modification, then it can be incorporated into a software update.

Im down here in Norfolk and mine only flashes 3 times Freelander 2 XS 2.2 TD4 Met Black, with Winter pack, 18" alloys with General Grabber AT2 wellies, MANTEC Sump and Tank Guards

If you really want it to flash that many times is it really that much hassle to depress the stalk a further sixteenth of an inch and put it fully on???

It looks like the number of flashes could have been increased on the 09my? Perhaps forum members could respond with the 'my' and number of flashes? I can't find any detail on the system to suggest this is right, but it may have been a 'my' enhancement?

eg.

2007my = 3 flashes

May help the forum to work out the logic between why you have 3 or 5 flashes?
