Hi guys my first post.
Can anyone give me a definitive answer to replacing my nasty worn 2008 steering wheel (with phone controls) with a 2009 model which I can source cheaply new.?

I know there are companies that can recover them but I was hoping to fit an original new one.

I've not got any experience of changing the steering wheel, but I do know there are threads on this forum,
what I have read makes it look a straight forward job,
try using the search box function, also I believe there is videos on Powerfuluk.com.
hope this is of help to you and don't forget you can always do a thread with photos on how you've done it.

Thanks guys. I have spent hours researching other threads etc etc. I am an engineer so not frightened of trying anything. However I was after specific advice as to the particular swap. 2008 part number LR000828 the 2009 number is LR0008208...?
