| chieftiff Member Since: 22 Apr 2016 Location: Southampton Posts: 6      | Hi Clive, I've just removed my fuel filter to change the manifold and can tell you that only a little fuel comes out but if you catch it with a rag then elevate the ends slightly it stops. Leave the filter full of fuel and the car starts as per normal on reassembly. Not even a stutter. Changing the filter is another matter and I agree priming is a good idea in that case.
