DPF became standard in UK from 2011 MY, basically from September 2010 onwards. If you've got the chrome trim on the tailgate then it'll be a 2011MY and will have DPF. |

If we are talking about Freelander 2, then since the beginning for certain markets.
Look at the VIN. If the 8th character is "C" or "E", then you have DPF. |

yes a low ash oil ford spec I think 934rather than 913 on non dpf vehicles. |

Ah ok. Thanks for that. I'll bear that in mind. Mines due a service in 4k miles so I'll call LR to see how much it'll be or try and find an indie specialist. Can't be too hard to find in Devon lol 😁 |

Yes and many Indies will not be using the correct spec. Castrol technical told me to use spec WSS-M2C-934B their oil is EDGE Professional C1 5W-30 and then went onto to say dealer only with no retail product. All is not lost as Millers (from Yorkshire FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current |
