| Stuartc Member Since: 01 Dec 2014 Location: Perth, Australia Posts: 2292      | If it's like the diesel, if you replace an injector and I'm guessing with the petrol, an ignition coil, you have to tell the PAM ECU the serial number on each injector/coil. This has to be done with SDD or some other diagnostic tool. MY15

I was concerned the dealer maybe had to "unlock" the ECU after the "reduced engine performance" message or something like that. If that's not a thing then I'll start looking at mechanically why it may not be starting. I was also questioning the engine immobiliser feature I read about in the manual related to the alarm and wondering if there was some connection there? | ||

No inkling whatsoever prior to the coil at the starter was on its way out. I'll get a new starter and report back on both the coil issue and the starter issue. I want to thank you personally for your input and help. | ||

Was running perfect..... Melted coil...replaced coil...replaced plug... Starter dies....replace starter now cranks but no start. Wherever shall I go from here. Any thoughts? | ||
