Door Sensor Not Working?

Hi!
Yesterday I found out that my "Lights On" alert was not working anymore when I get out of the car with headlights on.
I guess it is a problem with door open sensor. Maybe it's not working so when I open the door the car didn't know and so alert is not activated.
My question is: Does anyone knows where the sensor that tell the car if the door is open or close is located so I can check it?

It's part of the door latch in the door.
I would suggest you do a scan for DTC's first. MY15

Hi! Thank you for this information. It starts to work again. I will wait and if it stops again I will read DTC. By the way do you know some good DTC reader for Freelander 2?

Just to update this Post the door sensor just back to work since my last reply and donīt stop again until now.
If it stops again I will update here again.
