Mud Clean-off Tips?

Hi all!
Had a great off-roading trip in some deep mud today!
It was amazing and the FL2 was simply unstoppable
...however, I now have to clean off the mud and its everywhere!
any tips on getting the mud out of the wheels, bearings and brakes especially?
I would expect that leaving dirt in those areas for a long time may cause lasting damage.
Any advice would be welcome!
Thanks!

wash your radiator well, they easily block with mud, even dirty water, check valve in bottom of air filter box there have been issues there.

otherwise go to your local petrol station powerwash to knock of the thickest stuff, then clear off fast before the staff notice the muddy mess and ban you At work

Please don't run your power washer at full tilt near brakes, seals, boots, and bearings. Flushing and scraping off beats blasting off any day . A decent pressure washer can cause more problems than it solves pushing general crap into places it should not go Thumbs Up 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Thanks for all the feedback guys!
I actually drove down to the basement of the student flats where I live
and sprayed the chassis down with a fire hose! Worked very well but I'm afraid
it might have been against a by-law or two!

But now when I free slowly I hear a faint hissing noise from the rear wheels
I wonder if I havent perhaps pushed some dirt into the brakes or if I missed
a spot... anyway I hope it won't last long and that no damage will come from it.

Sounds like there's water in there and the heat of the brakes is boiling it.
