Privacy glass is after market film, I wanted the factory glass but took the car from stock so didn't get chance. Film looks OK though and at £185 is much cheaper

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Stornoway Grey

Well done on getting your new LR2 and pleased you are happy with it.
I had mine Jan 3rd, stornaway grey SE TD4
I only owned one black car, a capri (john player special) but found it difficult to leather off as it left streaks, is this not a problem with the LR2?

I had the Diamondbrite paint protection applied by the dealer, seems to clean up really easily.

So the real question is... when are you going to get it muddy off road ?

The wheels are 18" HSE spec and not the really expensive 19's. They are a £400 option when ordering a car which is well worth it IMO.

To be honest I will probably not really use it off-road (never thought I would say this) as I have a Disco 300TDi for that. Would like to see what it can do but don't want to damage the alloys or paintwork on the FL2.

cotefarmboy, congratulations - it is beautiful!

I should really ask you this over on DISCO3 but did you find a good home for the G4? Sad And how does the Freel2 compare to the disco3?

G4 is still at Farnell's Bradford, p/ex in the end for the Fl2 + cash back

FL2 is a totally different drive to the D3, more car like but a lot of fun.
