might be a silly question,but have you got the key fob in and pressed the start button without foot on clutch, so ignition is on?also I have found with some vehicles that the ecu needs to go through a normal drive cycle to realise the fault has gone,then it may clear,hope this helps. |

I was not aware that start button needs to be depressed in addition to key fob engaged for ignition on.

Sorry to hijack this post but can anyone recommend a code to clear the service light message on a 13 reg fl2 please ,it's the only thing stopping me doing a complete oil change and filters myself . |

Thought so ,what about a code reader then for a 13 reg to reset the service light ,is there anything available that doesn't more than two hundred pounds or less that would do the job |

Thanks for the link , that's what I'm after " I'm also looking at the terrafirma code reader for the freelander at £109 ponds which would be more useful if it can reset the service light ,anyone used one ? |
