no power

Due to work , I leave my FL2 parked for periods of up to 6 weeks on my drive. On most occasions the doors unlock & it starts with no problem. However, last time, the two key fobs would not unlock the doors. ( batteries OK), I used the emergency key to unlock the doors, as normal the alarm sounded. I placed the fob into the correct place, but alas, no dash display was seen, so no start. I `played` with it, & it started with no dash display, which came up immediately after starting. It performed OK after this instance. The vehicle battery had ample volts to start the engine.
Any ideas

Maybe the extra earth cable fitting may help ?

6 weeks is about the time period when they go to sleep. It's a real pain. My first FL2 used to go to sleep as regular as clock work.
You need to ensure you have a high spec battery. I used to leave a GYS battery conditioner plugged in when unatended.
In simple terms the vehicle is designed to shut down the electrics to conserve the battery as the battery voltage is falling.

It may be worth while fitting an extra earth cable ( heavey duty cable ) from one of the starter motor securing bolts to the negative of the battery. My 2008 model was plagued with electrical issues until I gave up with landrover to fix the issues and fitted the cable. Transformed the whole vehicle afterwards. Jaguar x-type sport gone

You say the batteries on the fobs are ok, how are you coming to this conclusion? On an 07 car the fob batteries could be at fault?

You say its about 6 weeks when they go to sleep . Question is,, whats the procedure to wake them up again.?. The battery is good, shows 12.6-8v after long periods
