That's what I'd do. I've done something similar on a few vehicles. |

Thanks, and if anyone is wondering why I ask the question here? I have put stuff on Peugeot forums but unless it's something to do with go faster stripes or upgrading your boom box no one seems to have a clue. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

The official kit is a steel box section that acts as a support beam, it rests each side on the front wing inner flange where theyre bolted on and a hook fits from the beam onto a engine lifting eye or bolt to hold the engine in place whilst the mounting is removed. |

Well, I finished the cambelt and water pump job on the wife's car today. A bit difficult because the Haynes manual didn't have exact;y the same engine. However I understand that the workshop time for a job like this is under 3 hours. I took 4 days! (including lots of tea/ meal/ TV/ sleep breaks) I guess I won't be getting a job offer from my local garage but it was interesting to do the job and I did have to make a special tool to get to some torx bolts. It's a 10mm spanner with a T50 torx key held in with insulation tape and some central heating pipe.
