United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Stornoway Grey
99999 SRS

occasionally i see the message 99999 SRS show up on the display on the dash when i start up. Its a 2007 TD4 S aprox 130k on the clock. I have searched this forum and google and not managed to fine anything meaningful.

Any ideas?

Well SRS normally stands for Safety Restraint System, ie AirBags etc?

also on mine....every 4-5 start up, the message comes...

I think the 99999 you are see is the elements which make up the numbers rotating whilst it checking itself Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Thanks for the replies. There are no error lights (SRS etc) on the dash so i will assume all is OK, Just wondered if the 99999 was the mileage that something needs to be checked/changed on the SRS system as im well over 100k.
