Can someone with a facelift model (mine is reg March 2013) check their car in the dark and tell me if the column stalks (wiper and lighting) should have any switch illumination at night? I cannot see in the dark any illumination of the icon positions for anything! The dash lighting of the main instrument cluster is fine and the 'dim' is wound fully up.....

Mine is a Jan 2013 model and does not have any stalk lighting. Not had the car long and I have yet to memorize which stalk does what, so some illumination would have been a nice feature to have. As it is, I randomly turn my lights off when it is raining and use the wipers when it gets dark.

From memory that is the case. Particularly awkward when groping for the foglight switches and trying to remember which is up and which is down, while at the same time concentrating on the foggy road ahead. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
