hill descent switch

Hi may be a daft Q but could anyone tell me on a night when you have your lights on does the hill descent switch iluminate? Noticed last night all other switches do but that 1. ?

No, it doesn't (although I believe some people have retro-fitted illumination).

Not a daft question, just daft that it doesn't illuminate!

Maybe their thinking is that you shouldn't be going down the sort of hill that needs HDC, in the dark! Laughing
