I think that is reasonable LfW, though we are still waiting for someone who has done it to report. (if anyone has) |

I saw an improvement of 4 mpg on my Auto Disco 3, again, mapped by Alive Mapped properly, and like for like driving, almost everything will an improvement in economy. But you should never map for economy in the first place |

You won't see a genuine 200bhp, as the duty cycle of 160PS TD4 injectors max's out at around 187bhp. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

There is no reason why an SD4 wouldn't see the same kind of fuel economy increases under the right driving conditions.

Has anyone experience of having a SD4 (2013) auto re-mapped and what gain in performance and MPG, thank you. |

When I remapped my Disco TD5 auto the result was not only more power and torque but an annoying effect on the autobox - it would change down much more readily on pressing the accelerator - due to the increase in torque I presume. A manual gearbox would have been better as I could have stayed in a higher gear.

So has anyone had their Sd4 remapped and able to provide real life testimony of how it performs,? I'm interested in torque for towing and economy rather than outright power. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I've only had one car remapped that was a Nissan x trail at 113 bhp to 130 bhp plus, which made sense at the time for towing. It felt under powered but did make a big difference but with the SD4 I don't think it needs remapping. Your not going gain that much I wouldn't think. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

Bluefin quote a 25hp & 78nm increase over stock, without an SD4 owner saying they've had it done, who knows but that would look a reasonable increase in torque to me.
