Is there a way to search Ebay for 'Freelander 2' without getting all the freelander 2.0's?

edit. I went into advanced search and excluded 2.0 with some success Thumbs Up At work

Anyone know how long it takes for the 3M adhesive / tape cure? I was thinking that 24 hours should be sufficient even perhaps a little less? - anyone had any additional trim fitted by a dealer and if so how long was ti before you could drive the car again (npinks, didn't you have your spoiler fitted by the dealer? - if so did you drop off and pick up on the same day?)

Just picked up the sport kit from Hereford Landrover and weather permitting was hoping to fit it tomorrow, however i will need the car back on the road by Monday morning for work!

Any ideas?

Just hope i don't screw up the fitting Big Cry

Something missing! Whistle

And there's me thinking i could sell the old grill on eBay...I thought it a little extreme taking a hacksaw to it!! Rain prevented any further progress fitting the rest of the kit unfortunately, although i did manage to fit the new grill Very Happy

Might try fitting the side skirts after work tomorrow if i get home in time (the side skirts are a direct replacement for the existing, and do not require any 3M tape/Resin Adhesive, so rain should not be a factor...

Nice saw job. Would like to see pic of the finished project.

How did the new grill go in and did you have to shave the sides down any more, as the edges of the old grill seem to stick out still?

I would like to change mine, just plucking up the courage to make the first cut! FL2 TD4 XS Santorini

The new grill fitted in just fine - it wraps the whole of the old grill, so you can't see any of the old silver grill (and cuts), even if you look through the 'grill' part.
The cuts were to make ok, just took a little while with a hack saw blade with a improvised handle of gaffa tape! The cuts don't need to be flush (at least on the sides) as there is a cavity (3 to 5 mm) on the inside of the new grill - Then just clean the surface of the old grill, apply the resin adhesive, which is dead easy as it comes with a handy little applicator sponge in the sachet, line up the new grill and then just pull the back of the 3M tape off - and hey presto, 1 HST / sports kit grill... Thumbs Up

Will post a pic tomorrow sometime - quality is not great as it's from my iphone... can't believe it still only has a 2mp camera
