Hello,

Recently my FL2 MY14 has started to beep twice when I unlock the drivers door, the second press of the key then unlocks all the other doors and the car beeps twice again. So 4 beeps to get in the car.

This is quite annoying, previously the car would only beep twice when setting the alarm on locking, now i get no beeps when trying to set the alarm so I assume the alarm does not work any more.

Anyone else experienced this, I just can not be bothered to go back to the dealer again as It seems to be my second home.

sounds like you been playing around in your settings. I'm sure on your model year there is a set up option for sound on lock/unlock 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

It's not in the settings. Been through all the menus, the only related tick box is for audible lock, selecting and unselecting this does nothing.

I think it beeped 4x when the boot or doors was left slightly ajar

Could it be a faulty door sensor or something? Or if the cars alarm has gone off, does it tell you it's sounded by beeping? Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I get one beep with a door slightly ajar on locking. I'm popping out to get the manual, hopefully that will tell me when it should and shouldn't beep.

I have had a few previous electrical issues, maybe still some glitch still in the system somewhere.

Right then, manual mentions nothing.

But I did find another thread, people have had the same issue, looks like modifying files or a hard reset.
