Rear Parking Sensors MY15 SD4 SE

Very pleased with my new car but one major niggle - how do you reduce the sound level of the warning beeps when reversing . Have searched the forum/manual etc and have yet to find out how this can be achieved. Any advice out there Question Question

Cheers MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

I believe that you need to turn down the volume button for the radio whilst the parking sensors are live SD4 HSE Lux

.....& the front!

Backing out of the garage alarms were going off everywhere. I turned the seatbelt alarm off as I was not putting on the seatbelt to back out of the garage, only to remove the seatbelt to then get out of the car to close the garage door, meanwhile another alarm as I open the car door. It's worse than a symphony brass section!

I often turn them off simply because the sound is painfully loud. I would rather park the car the old way..... touch parking, it's quieter! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Tried holding the volume button on the steering wheel whilst sensors were bleeping - neither increase nor decrease with radio on or off. Any ideas Question Question MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

Tried all ways but to no avail - calling into the selling dealers on Saturday, they are baffled as they recommend the same procedure as you guys. Will advise outcombe in due course. (might be a week or so as I am calling in on my way to Scotland for a weeks salmon fishing) MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.
