We're selling our FL2 so I figured I'd post up here before hitting ebay/Auto trader.

The car is a 2010 Freelander 2 , XS trim and Santorini black, 53K miles on the clock.

2.2 TD4 Engine with Auto gearbox.

Full service history with main dealer and independent LR specialist.

Service & MOT just done in March, no issues apart from new pads.

Typical XS spec, highlights: Heated seats, heated windscreen (winter pack?), Sat Nav, Part leather seats.

Added: Rear privacy glass, side steps, centre console armrest, brodit mount with line in and charger concealed.

Also have 4 X Goodyear UltraGrip+ 235/65R17 7MM which I can do a deal on for the buyer of the car.

Looking £14,500 and based West Oxfordshire.

I'm having the car detailed tomorrow and any stone chips / scuffs sorted so Ill upload some pictures after that.

Seems the market has gone down a bit so adjusting the price.

14,000K and ill throw in the winter tyres as well.

First time selling a car so not sure what to expect but its been over a week on Auto Trader and not a single call.

Has anyone sold their FL2 recently? did it take long? Do you think my price is realistic?

Summer is the worst time to try and sell a 4x4, the sheep want convertibles, come October, first sign of bad weather and it would be snapped up.

price dropped to £13,500.

Totally agree with Taz - tried to sell my RRS recently and not a sniff - ended up selling to Trade

Cars been on auto trader for 4 weeks and only 2 calls, figure the finance was scaring people off so I cleared it off today.

should now be HPI clear if anyone is interested in buying.

I guess theres loads on the market and folk always want the top spec HSE ones and the others are a last resort unless they are bargain basement prices, that was my findings??

Since clearing the finance I've had 3 enquires for viewing tomorrow, nothing for 4 weeks and then loads. Definitely the finance was putting people off!

£13,250 in the end, dropped the price a bit further as there are going to be a load of FL2s coming onto the marker of the next few months when the DS comes out i think.
