Thanks, that's about what I thought. I've not seen the abbreviation used for anything other than the Freelander.
It has a 'S' badge on the back but does have the Terrain Response knob, also automatic Xenon headlights, cruise control, heated seats which I didn't think were part of the Spec.
that was a guess ![]() I also have a X-Type Jaguar with a strange spec but I understand that with a Jaguar you could more or less get them built with whatever you want, was the Freelander the same? |

Not equivalent to a UK S spec then - maybe the E fell off |
