I should just be able to afford one of these tours in 2017 despite saving up for a house but I'm struggling which to choose as I like the sound of them all. Have any of you been to Niagara Falls, Washington DC or Boston?

I would appreciate your thoughts on those places in particular. The links to the tours are below and its the same company that we booked with on the big tour of California, Vegas and Grand Canyon last year and they are excellent.

I thought Nigara Fall was disappointing - not as grand or epic as I thought it was from movies/books etc.

Washington DC is great - if only for the bizarre intra-terminal transport at the airport!!

Boston is nice too - very "New England", which is kinda obvious really I guess. I liked Boston a lot. Make sure you go whale watching.

Just hire a car and wander round those routes, there is much to see in small town America. I did New York Boston Niagra Washington route a few years ago, with stops at Intercourse Gettysburg Salem.

I worked in a hotel on Cape Cod (Provincetown for about six weeks in 1990 ish, turned out it was a hotel for those that dont like the ladies but I kept my virginity .


Boston is a lot like York, Washington lots of big buildings ok Niagra worth a flying visit dont stop over. Intercourse was fun  At work

Canadian niagra falls is like Blackpool with heat, the buffalo side is a dump. Can't help with the rest. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

Thanks for the input I think they do a tour which covers Boston, NYC and Washington but that doesn't cover all the scenic areas of the tour in the first link obviously.

As said, Buffalo is a dump.

Washington is great for history but shuts down at 7pm, we couldn't find anything to do in the evenings but Baltimore isn't far and has great night life around the harbo(u)r.

I love Boston, plenty to do both in the city and not too far outside.

Just hire a car and do it your self done it many times

We prefer a coach tour Made some new friends on the last tour who we keep in touch with (some in the UK, one in Australia and one in Canada) and the nights out were fantastic. We had a great night packing out a small bar in Sonora, California last year, chatting and drinking with the locals
