2013 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Orkney Grey
Cross Bars

Im back again - now the roof rails are on I have some Thule cross bars for my bike carriers and they are a little tight.

Does anyone have any piccies of the LR cross bars ? Also anyone got the dimensions as I dont fancy buying new bike racks so hopefully they will be big enough to fit to the LR ones.

Thanks guys!

I was advised I Could reuse my Jag/Thule Aerobars (120cm) but this was incorrect Censored

Ended up buying 127cm Aerobars and reusing - Jag/Thule feet, Jag/Thule roofbox, Thule cycle carrier and Kayak Rack. Thule are also interchangeable so good chance will fit next car if not FL2 Very Happy

Looked at LR crossbars but decided too expensive and in view of wind noise from crossbars mentioned by others would not want to leave on car unless using them. I was also advised that LR bars may need adapters for attachments. Confused

There are a few photos in the gallery if you look for them. However its a pity you didnt use Thule bars and feet - far the cheapest and best and you dont have to drive round with wind noise all the time Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

Have just come back from Holiday in very wet Cornwall and saw several FL2's down there with Thule roofbars on and usually with Thule roofboxes as well. looks as though the aftermarket accessories are now catching on.
