Dashcam?

I'm interested in the percentage of Freely owners using (or considering using) a dashcam. Please vote! ...

Thanks all. Seems that Freely owners are more likely to use dashcams than the rest of the motoring public. According to the Independent "Although the number of drivers with dash-cams is only about 3 per cent in the UK, new research from the RAC shows that four in 10 owners are considering buying one." ...

Got Vacron in my FL2 & a second one to use on the show cars. Maplins sell these.
Got a Blackvue in the Fiesta ST2 though I doubt I would buy another as it often splurts out "please check SD card" & you have to eject it & re insert, can't seem to get it to re-format now either lol. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.
(Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather.

2010 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Stornoway Grey

Evening all. Not long bought my xs td4 2010 and still getting used to it. I'm looking to install twin dashcam after altercation with my previous car. My question is, what's the best way to run the wiring down the side and to the back to power it, bearing in mind that there is a side airbag in the way that I don't want to interfere with.
The unit I'm considering is Koonlung K1S Dual 1080dp GPS Dash Camera. Anybody have any experience with this one.

Haven't done a rear one but the front is easy,
Mount the Camera Behind the Interior Mirror.
Tuck the wire behind the Headlining along where it meets the Windcreen towards the Near Side.
Pop off the Air Bag plastic cover on the Inner A Pillar, remove the Torx Screw followed by the A Pillar Cover.
Run the wire down the A Pillar, taking care not to run the wire across the Air Bag.
Pull off the door seal from the bottom of the A Pillar to the Glove box, thread the wire behind the dash to the Fuse Box behind the Glove Box.
Replace the the Door Seal, tucking the wire under the edge.
Piggy Back Fuse off the Fuse box behind the Glove Box.

Search Dashcam and you will find more info, p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
