Hi all,

The chrome side vents on my FL2 XS are starting to oxidize a little, so I am in the market to buy some replacements.

I definitely want chrome ones, as they match the mirrors and side tubes. There are quite a lot of aftermarket ones on eBay, but I just wondered if anybody had purchased some of these before and what they thought of them?

Do they fit ok etc.? My past experience of aftermarket parts has not always been good.

I got my gloss black ones from Powerful UK. seem pretty good quality and a straight easy swap.

Pretty sure they do chrome as well.

I got some standard ones up for grabs in excellent condition.

Can always be used as a project ie paint black, body colour or just paint the mesh section black.

Thanks for the suggestions. I looked at the powerful UK ones and they look good so I'll go with them.

Never thought I'd be buying chrome accessories for a car, but on a black car with chrome mirrors and stainless side tubes it's got to be done

Reminds me of the old days of chrome bumpers, wiper blades, hub caps etc. When you washed your car you would have to go round it with metal polish too.  3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
