Metal (music)

Something a bit different. I am a huge music fan and love all sorts of stuff, but I have a very soft spot for metal. Any other metal heads on here? My long standing favourite is Machine Head. Blooody love them. Best live band out there bar none. If you like it heavy but with decent vocals and good hooks, check them out, just don't try Unto The Locust - disappointing album. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

Rock and classical music. Hate Radio 1 with a passion.
I may be listening to Zep and next it could be Mahler. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Nice to see there are some other rockers on here. Have to say though, I've tried to get in to the classic rock stuff but just can't. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

I get confused with all the genres.....really like classic rock (Planet Rock just playing Asia), heavy, symphonic and opera metal. And I like folk and classical. Whatever takes my mood.

Not my cup of tea this. I looked up Machine Head on YouTube but just don't like it. I am a fan of some of AC DC's music though as I'm sure a few of you are. Highway to Hell and Shoot to Thrill are my favourites Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

It is an acquired taste certainly. There's loads of metal out there I really don't like. Machine Head for me manage to get awesome guitar and excellent vocals in one. Most other metal I've heard doesn't quite hit the right spot for me.

They take a bit of getting used to, to be fair. You cant just pick up one of their tracks and jump straight in, but to sound cheesy, it is very rewarding when you get to know their stuff.

Plus, they write and produce all their own stuff. They work hard online to keep in touch with their fans and tour almost constantly, which for me have given me 2 of my best nights out, ever. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
