Auto Dim Mirror on eBay

Spotted that the mirror advertised at

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301551162843?_tr...EBIDX%3AIT

appears to be an auto dim one as it has the connector.
I've already got one on my car as standard, but some on this forum have retrofitted them, see

http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic11523.htm...dim+mirror

Might be worth a punt at that price? I just looked up the SE spec at launch and it did indeed include an 'electrochromatic mirror'

I will say yes but the chance of me not getting it working is extremely slim! Smile

Anyone know what the wire to the humidity sensor on the mirror actually does,I take it that the wire from the reverse lights takes the tint off when in reverse, the wires in the wiring diagram on the forum have different colours to the ones on my mirror (see earlier post) so any ideas please,(still don't hold your breath Le Bouch). Laughing

I have every faith in you Laughing

I retro-fitted one to my old D2 a few years back. As you say, the reverse wire takes the tint off and 2 of the others will be pos 12v and earth. As to the 4th wire.. Question Question

That's what it says on page 64 of the wiring diagram in a sticky by Member GECKO.
