Is the registered member counter stuck/full? its been on 995 for a while but new people keep arriving? Or are people leaving just as fast?

I noticed yesterday when new member Roy996 joined (welcome Roy ) It looks like he tried to be member 996 but the system let him down? if so good effort  At work

What happens if you try to change your nick? - do you go back to start without collecting your £200? or can you continue as the same member?
For example if CG changed hi nick to CG996 would he loose all his postings and go down to the bottom of the pile  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

The process is

Martin deletes CG user name

CG reapply's for CG996, Martin turns him down as a user
