To complete this modification successfully you will need:-

(a) 1 x Freelander 2
(b) 1 x worn out wiper blade
(c) 1 x new replacement wiper blade
(d) 1 x Numpty

Strictly speaking you don't need either of the wiper blades but they add context and timbre to what would otherwise be a mundane mechanical engineering tutorial.

Step by step guide:-

1. Approach vehicle, with new wiper blade in hand.
2. Gently pull back the spring loaded wiper arm.
3. Unclip the old wiper blade assembly from the arm.
4. Allow the wiper arm to flop gently back down onto the windscreen as you prepare to fit the new blade.
5. Step back and gaze in wonderment and joy at the creeping star shaped cracks radiating out on the now shattered windscreen.

That's happened to me, but without the cracking  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I had thought that this would be a great day to get out the chainsaw to flatten some huge trees or do repair work on top of my roof or do some mains electrics re-wiring, but no I shall forbear - stupidity of such intensity may be contagious..........
