ok, I was looking on National Tyres, they called it :
Dunlop Sport Quattmax XL - slightly different name, I suspect they just cannot type.

United Kingdom 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Indus Silver

Called in at Kwik Fit to get the first MOT done, thought I'd entertain myself by asking for what tyres they'd recommend.

GY Wranglers or Conti Cross Contacts was the only ones they suggested, neither were in stock but the Wranglers are on offer!

£550 for four fitted! Rolling with laughter

Has anybody taken there FL2 with General Grabber GT's off road?
They look to me to have quite an open tread for a road tyre, I just get the feeling they will be relatively good off road.

Goodyear Wranlger HP AW 235/65/17 104V

National tyres £468.44 for 4 fully fitted.
Halfords Autocentre £450.44 fully fitted
Asda tyres £437.96. fully fitted. (locally to me they use Halfords to fit them for you)

Same here with Asda, they use Halfords, I rang them last week and see if they would price match, he said he could.
They didn't have stock and we had an engineer on slicks so didn't want to risk waiting so Kwik Fit got the business in the end.

Personally I get tyres from Oponeo and my local tyre fitter charges me £10 a wheel, although last time a valve wasn't fitted properly so I think next time it may be free Whistle
