United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Narvik Black
Retro fit memory seats

Anyone know if this can be done easily? I just happen to see a switch panel on ebay and started wondering how big a job it would be... I'm guessing a new seat module and switch itself and then a re-program??

Any other thoughts? or has anyone done this? Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints

Negatory, but I did happen across the ads and began trying to work things out, then the temptation went thankfully.

So you have electric non memory seats at minute?
You will need module and change to CCF
Also wiring to switch pack is different between memory and non memory. Take a look at wiring diagram for memory function on sticky in Technical area and compare with your existing loom to see if all wires present. I've just retrofitted leather to my 2011 MY GS without much pain but not looked into memory function yet as waiting for IID tool arriving to change CCF.
Also fitted leather to wife's 07 GS and that was a pain as loom only had bare essentials 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

Correct, I have electronic non memory. I was wondering if replacing the module on the seat with the memory one would activate the capability...

You will definitely need the memory module flash programmed and change made in CCF. This will mean a trip to dealer or Indy with correct tools (Autologic , IID, BBS etc.)
There are also 4 additional wires for memory from switch pack loom to memory module. ( memory1, memory 2, memory 3 and memory store) 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)
