2014 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Firenze Red

Hi Taz, any idea what time the visit is likely to finish as I'm likely to be travelling south to London afterwards via train and was trying to work out timings?

The demo drive will be around an hour, we have previously finished around 4:45 so this time should be no different

John, If you need a lift to Lime Street Station I will be traveling through Liverpool to pass through The Mersey Tunnel on my way home to The Wirral.
But in booking your train please allow for an hour to get into Liverpool at that time on a Friday afternoon. I have based this time on the Liverpool Airport bus time table (The airport is 5 minutes from Halewood) which is probably conservative but will ensure you do not miss your train.

Thanks Taz and Bill for the offer of a lift to the station.

I'm going to be driving down from North East Scotland for the tour and am looking at the possibility of leaving the freelander in the factory car park whilst away so will let you Bill.

We have 16 people so far paid up for this trip which promises to be a great day out, seeing the Discovery Sport not only up close and personal but also, whats under its skin.

We will start to meet from 10:30 onwards at Speke Hall, have a brew and a chin wag, photographs etc and it gives people a chance to get there without rushing, arrive any time between 10:30 - 11:30. I will PM my mobile number in due course and if anyone has a problem they can contact me.

Getting to Speke Hall
We are adjacent to Liverpool Airport and approx 1 mile off Speke Boulevard (A561). If traveling from motorways, follow the airport signs from M62 exit 6 or M56 exit 12, then the brown tourism signs for Speke Hall. If traveling from Liverpool city centre, follow the river south along Riverside Drive and look out for roadsigns to the airport or brown tourism signs for Speke Hall.

Parking: Free parking on site.

Sat-Nav: Use L24 1XD for satnavs

Yes of course, no problem, just get hold of Roz at Halewood and she will take your money and sign you up, also put your name on the sign up on here.
I think this takes us to 18 people now, a good number.

Everyone should have received an email today from Roz at Halewood?

She has also contacted me to say that we will be split into two groups on the day, one group will go on the tour and then on a demo drive, the next group will go on the demo drive then the tour, we will all meet back at the LRE centre afterwards together.
They have 2 Discovery Sport models and an Evoque, by splitting the groups everyone will get a chance in the Disvovery on the track.

I will PM numbers etc during the week and if anyone needs any help or info just PM me anytime.
